FAQ's

Two to three weeks is the average time one needs to schedule an appointment with our clinics. However, if you have an urgent need, please call even on short notice. We sometimes have cancellations or re-schedules and may be able to work you in.

Please call the clinic at (775) 828-5388 or e-mail us at info@sierraintegrative.com

Not necessarily. We are not a participating provider with any insurance companies or with Medicare. However, the receipts that we provide our patients have all the necessary procedure codes required by the insurance companies. This receipt allows the patient to submit the items to their insurance companies for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement depends totally on the individual plan and coverage.

This varies from person to person. The average is 20-30 treatments depending upon the severity of illness. A patient takes one treatment per day, which includes intravenous therapy and injections. The clinic is open Monday through Friday. Follow up office visits are scheduled as needed for your individualized health care needs.

DO NOT STOP taking your prescribed medications. Once you have met with our doctors and had your tests and evaluations, the doctor will help you make that decision.

Sometimes you may have a headache, upset stomach or other symptoms especially during detoxification. It is very important to follow instructions implicitly and communicate any discomforts to the medical staff.

It is best to wear loose comfortable clothing in layers. A top with short or push-up sleeves and comfortable pants (sweat suits work nicely). Even in the summer, you may feel cool while taking intravenous therapy. A sweater or jacket is always recommended. We provide blankets and pillows. Please do not wear jewelry during treatment as it may interfere with various phases of the process.

Yes. That is true. In fact, we ask that you do not wear any fragrance to the clinic at any time. Many of our patients are very sensitive and we want everyone to be as comfortable as possible.

  1. You should arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled appointment to complete paperwork. When you enter the clinic, check in at the front desk. They will give you a clipboard with the necessary additional paperwork. When you have completed and signed all pages, return everything to the front desk including the forms you brought with you. At this time, please provide us with any medical records you would like us to review.
  2. Upon completion of your paper work, you will be directed to the lab for your fasting blood draw. You may have a bite to eat in between your completed lab work and your next appointment.
  3. An Electrodermal Screening Test will be done before you see the physician.
  4. A Medical Assistant will call you to take your vital signs and history; then you will have a consultation and evaluation with the doctor.
