“The best place in the world for you to go for your health problems is a Clinic in Reno, Nevada. They work wonders there.” - Randy Travis Sufferer of Fatique, Liver, High Cholesterol, Allergies

Roland Kern
Fullerton, CA
Epstein Barr Virus and Cytomegalovirus

After being in good health, I was told on July 2, of 1997, that I had kidney cancer. Just like everybody else that gets that kind of news, I was shocked. My left kidney was removed on July 7th. After the biopsy came back two days later, I was given the news by the doctor that I had 6-24 months to live. I had Renal Cell carcinoma, Stage 4 Kidney Cancer, with metastatic to the lymph nodes. I did a lot of calling to find hope. On August 28th, my wife and I went to Seattle to the annual Kidney Cancer Symposium. When I got back, I was more depressed than ever. All you hear is statistics, and with my cancer, I had a 14% chance to live a few more months. From there I went to a leading cancer research center in the U.S. After my first visit, I was extremely depressed after seeing all the sick people sitting there, knowing they were all in the same boat as me. The result of my visit was that they felt I had spots on my liver and some of my lymph nodes were infected. Their recommendation was to start Interluken 2 treatment right away. I asked what my chances for a full recovery were and was told 15%.

In the meantime, a lady friend of my daughter who lives in Fort Worth called and told her about this clinic in Reno. A friend of theirs just came back cancer-free after being told by experts in Houston that he only had a few months to live. I talked it over with my family and decided to make an appointment. I went up there in August for my first visit. The examination by one of the physicians and seeing a picture of my blood cell convinced me to give it a try. The question I posed to the next physician at the clinic I saw was, “Do you think you can help me?” The hopeful response brought tears to my eyes. This was the first positive thing I had heard since my operation.

I started treatments immediately. The clinic treated my extremely elevated titers of Epstein Barr Virus and Cytomegalovirus along with Nickel Toxicity and Chemical Exposure. After completing 33 treatments in December of 1997. I went to other doctors and had scans taken of my chest and abdomen and the results were the same, no cancer.

I thank God for that phone call my daughter received from her friend in Texas. I feel that without the help of the doctors at the Sierra Integrative Medical Center, my life would be over. I’m also convinced that if I had known about the Clinic a few years ago, I probably would never have had cancer in the first place. I wish more people could know and have the opportunity to visit the Clinic.

It is now 4 years later, July 2001 and I’m still in excellent health. I play golf, ski, exercise a lot and feel just great. I visit the clinic 2 times a year for a few days; it is what we call a tune up. I am 69 years old.

Three years ago I brought my wife, Helga, up to the clinic. She had problems walking fast and had high blood pressure. When we got to the clinic, her blood pressure was 165/110. She was checked out completely and the doctors found some severe blockages in her upper and lower body. Also, the main artery to her heart and the right side to her head were over 65% blocked. My wife was a step away from a major stroke. Treatment was started right away and 4 weeks later she was fine and still enjoys excellent health. Her average blood pressure is now 115/75. We both walk one hour most days and stay on a sensible diet and even enjoy a beer or glass of wine now or then.

Thanks to the caring staff of the Sierra Integrative Medical Center, we are both enjoying our golden years.
