Patricia Cox
Reno, Nevada
Cancer
I was informed of my health crisis in July 1991, when I had a needle biopsy of a tumor in my right breast. A week later I was told by a California doctor that the lab results of this biopsy showed the tumor to be malignant. This doctor told me that I was in Stage III and that I need to have my breast removed plus the lymph nodes under my arm. A week later I consulted another California doctor and was given the same information. Library reading confirmed the fact that my prognosis was bleak. The tumor was growing, and I was getting weaker so I knew that I urgently needed to get medical care.
My California doctor had given me Sierra Integrative Medical Center’s (SIMC) phone number some months before. Since I live in the Reno area and Homeopathic medicine is licensed by the State of Nevada, I chose to get another medical opinion.
I became a patient at SIMC and the doctor told me that they do not treat cancer but treat the immune system. My blood tests showed that I was allergic to almost all plant life, to almost all kinds of foods and that I had 23 viruses.
That summer I had 15 IV treatments and various shots at the clinic. The tumor stopped growing, my appetite returned, energy improved and allergies and viruses were controlled by the end of the year.
I was referred to a well-known local oncologist for consultation. I declined the treatment plan of surgery and chemotherapy. The Oncologist had a blood test done which showed the CEA, CA 15-3 tests were all normal which means I am cancer free.
I returned to the classroom as a teacher and have been working ever since. Presently, I teach twenty-four kindergarten children from 8:30 to 2:30.
The staff at the clinic is warm and supportive people and has treated me as an individual. Their care has enhanced my health, and I am happy to tell others about the clinic because they have controlled my disease.
