Lyme Disease

I have a similar story to most Lyme sufferers… misdiagnosed, oral/IV antibiotics with some relief, but no cure. Then my immune system broke down and triggered HHV6 and the Epstein Barr viruses. But here’s the good part, I want other Lyme, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, and Lupus sufferers to be aware of, that there is hope! I was told about Sierra Integrative Medical Center (SIMC), so I made an appointment in August of 1999 and found hop!

After some testing and confirmation of what all was in my blood, I began treatments on day #2. Very simple, they treat bacteria, virus and fungus in the blood with oxygen as they are all anaerobic and cannot survive in oxygen. They also use homeopathic treatments to clean the blood from the toxins left from the dead cells. Ideally they would like you to stay for 4-6 weeks of intense IV/oxygen therapy. I stayed for 7 treatments… after two treatments my joint pain was g-o-n-e!

After talking with the doctors they agreed to let me take my treatments at home in the form of injections every other day for 3 months. I am now 10 weeks into treatments, I’m taking NO antibiotics, and I’m feeling the best since becoming sick. I have been able to see, week by week, the regaining of my functions. I am active again, very few naps during the day, my mind is clear and I am so thankful that I feel like I have been given a second chance.

I will have my blood tested again at the end of November and will be excited to see on paper the improvements. I would encourage anyone who is tired of “coping” with Lyme disease to contact the SIMC. This is an alternative medicine clinic. The doctors are trained in Western, European and Eastern medicine. Some of their tests are definitely not in the “normal” realm, and I felt a little uncomfortable because it wasn’t what I was used to.

I can only tell you that I am amazed at how I have improved. It sounds so simple; you wonder why more doctors don’t use this method.
