Bodies. That is the creed of Sierra Integrative Medical Center (SIMC) where the emphasis is
on treating the cause of a disease, not just the symptoms.
SIMC has treated thousands of patients from all corners of the world
with its unique blend of both conventional and alternative medicine.
In
conventional medicine,
physicians have no orientation except to treat a symptom and they use a
pattern
of symptoms to “diagnose” a disease. When
a disease is
diagnosed it is then treated; all cases being treated the
same. For
instance any infection, regardless of the type, is treated with an
antibiotic.
At Sierra
Integrative
Medical
Center
a
“diagnosis” is immaterial—our physicians
focus on what is
causing the patient’s health condition and this can vary from
patient to
patient. Patients at SIMC, even those with the same
“diagnosis” are treated differently. For
example, a patient
may have a “diagnosis” of Multiple
Sclerosis. The
cause(s) of
this disease can vary from viral infections of the Herpes family of
viruses,
bacterial infections, from DPT vaccinations, Toxoplasmosis or
ParvoVirus from
ones pets or even Lyme Disease from a tick bite.
Infectious
diseases
attack a patient’s weakest or most susceptible
organ. These organs
are targeted because they are genetically weak or have been abused over
the
years. Since each individual has their own unique
constitution, and
behavioral and environmental history, the same disease can manifest
different
symptoms in different patients. Similarly, different diseases
can cause
the same symptoms. By eliminating the cause of the disease,
the human,
with its natural healing ability, can recover from the
illness.
Many
diseases deemed
“incurable” may indeed become
“curable.”
Our
physicians have
successfully treated the causes of many degenerative,
“incurable”

SIMC to offer
our patients an integrated approach to treatment utilizing traditional

medicine, European medicine and natural healing Eastern
medicine. Each
patient receives individualized treatments developed for them based on
the confirmed
causes of their diagnoses and symptoms. The
treatment modalities considered
in developing a patient’s
unique treatment program include intravenous immunotherapies, Chinese
and
European herbal medicine, neural therapies, biological and
orthomolecular
medicines.

OUR TREATMENTS
Sierra Integrative Medical
Center captures the most from all schools of medicine throughout the
creation of our individualized treatment programs. We utilize
scientifically proven conventional treatments in combination with
alternative therapies that are designed to strengthen the body so it
can heal itself. Additionally, rather than addressing a reversal of a
health condition, we emphasize preventive protocols, so as to avoid
recurrence and the development of new problems.
A patient's treatment
program is based on an initial comprehensive evaluation that includes a
complete history and physical as well as a thorough laboratory
analysis. The treatment program is assembled from various disciplines
of the healing arts including but not limited to homeopathy, natural
and biological medicines, behavioral medicine, nutritional therapies,
orthomolecular integration and neurotherapy. The time and effort
invested in individualizing the treatment programs proposes eradication
of illness and restoration of health to the body.
YOUR STAY
Sierra Integrative Medical
Center is a freestanding outpatient clinic. Please make
arrangements for a 3 to 5 day stay to complete the initial
consultation. Extensive testing
occurs throughout the 3 to 5 days and is necessary to complete the
comprehensive needs assessment. (Note: Due to the sensitivity of many
people, please do not wear fragrances (perfumes, colognes, scented
creams, etc.) on the days of your clinic visits.
COST
The cost of
an initial
patient consultation is $350.00. This fee includes an initial
interview, a comprehensive history and physical examination along with
a state-of-the-art meridian screening. Laboratory tests will be ordered
by your attending physician at this time. These lab tests will incur
fees over and above the initial patient consultation fee and may cost
from $200.00 to $2,500.00. After the initial in-depth consultation is
complete and the laboratory results have come back and have been
reviewed by your physician, an individual treatment program will be
developed and discussed with you by one of our highly qualified staff.
The approximate length of treatment and cost will be outlined at this
time.
Some recommended treatments and services may be covered by your health
insurance. However, Sierra Integrative Medical Center does not work
with any insurance companies at this time. Currently, most of our
treatments are considered “alternative and
preventative”
and are not covered by insurance. Fees for the initial evaluation and
lab tests are due at the end of the first day. Fees for treatment are
due every Friday during the treatment phase. For these services covered
by your insurance, you may submit your SIMC receipt for reimbursement
to your insurance company. These receipts contain all information
required for reimbursement.
Please note: SIMC has formally opted out of the Medicare program and
all insurance programs. SIMC is a fee-for-service medical center and
does not accept any insurance as a form of payment.
